Network marketing is becoming ever more popular with parents who want to stay home with their family, yet still provide an income.

Network marketing is an ever-growing industry that allows parents to work from a home-based business. The work-life balance is appealing to many younger adults who find network marketing an easy tool to use wherever they are.

Allison Helgeson, a mom of three, has relied 100 percent on network marketing to launch her home-based business. She recently worked via her phone while at the doctor’s office with her youngest child.

“I get to work from my phone or computer in the comfort of my home whether I’m still in my pj’s or totally dressed up for the day,” Helgeson said. “If I’m out of my house, I still get to work my business because I have my phone.”

Helgeson, who lives in northern Iowa, travels often with her children to doctor’s appointments at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Working from home has been the most manageable career for her busy family.

“I have and always will love being a stay-at-home mother, but I have always wished I could provide an income,” she said. “I now get that privilege without having to worry about daycare or how I am going to get my boys to all their weekly and monthly appointments.

“I can work when it works for me. It’s truly amazing. It’s truly simple.”
