My current reading is The Next Millionaires by Paul Zane Pilzer.  Do you ever find yourself asking how can I make my business thrive in an economy that seems to have so many problems?

I am here to ask you to look at the glass half full when you focus on your business.

Why the glass half full?
For lots of reasons. Pilzer lists 6. I want to talk about 4 of them.

#1 Unemployment is up.  For Network Marketing / MLM this provides an opportunity for potential team members that may never have even considered having their own business. With limited jobs, the pro-active entrepreneurial minded business person has an abundance of choices in the Network Marketing world.  You just might cross a newly released corporate worker and change his/her life forever.

#2 Globalization of the economy is growing unemployment.  Did you realize that it is even easier for you to grow your business world wide? Yes, you can connect in so many ways with people who have a similar interest to you, who have been downsized, pink slipped or just burnt out from the rat race. These people, all over the world, have a dream to have success on their own, and  from  their own new home based business.
If you thought your target customer was only in your home town, rethink this belief. Start
thinking of anywhere in the world your company is doing business.  If you have dreamed of
seeing other places in the world, it is now open to you on so many more levels.

#3   The Internet. Yes the internet is definitely helping fill all of our glasses. I have found some
even more creative strategies for connecting with prospects and building relationships: Linked In; Facebook; Pinterest, etc. And if that wasn’t enough, there is Skype which allows us to have conversations with people around the world for a fraction of the price it once was.

#4  Going into business for your self is risky.   You or someone you know may have experienced
being laid off from their job and feeling the only solution was to get another job because that was the safest strategy. Another Network Marketing glass half full is that you can get another job and join a Network Marketing company on the side with a very low investment.   The economic risk is determined by you not putting your focus on your new commitment.  Once you say yes to your company, there are enormous possibilities.

The economic opportunity is huge right now.  When you find yourself saying this won’t work because, take a look at the side of the story. See what beliefs and actions you can have and implement that will take you to the top.
